DC has won 4 out of 7 matches in UAE leg and are in a 2-match losing streak currently. Prithvi Shaw set the match on blaze with his 60 runs off 34 balls. But in their last match DC suffered a collapse in middle overs.  Delhi Capitals after dominating the group stages lost. But they lost their last match to CSK in the qualifier 1. They will look use their second chance at the finals in this match effectively.

DC vs KKR: IPL 2021: Weather Report

Sharjah will have hot and humid conditions and the dew might settle down in the second innings to trouble the bowlers to grip the ball.

DC vs KKR: IPL 2021: Pitch Report

Sharjah pitch slows down as the match progresses and batsmen struggle to score runs freely outside the power play. Chasing becomes slightly easier if dew settles down on this pitch. We expect the average scores to be around 150-160 runs in this match.

DC vs KKR: IPL 2021: Match Prediction

Delhi Capital’s top 6 are performing inconsistently. They will be eager to add Marcus Stoinis in this match if he is available. They might be forced to leave out Ravi Ashwin or Kagiso Rabada owing to their indifferent form in recent matches. KKR has a very balanced and deep batting line-up with batters capable of making big scores till No.8. KKR’s lower middle order lacks form and consistency this season. Spin bowling has been KKR`s strength this season and we expect them to make a mark in this match too. We expect KKR to win this match owing to their superior and in-form spin attack.

First Innings: RCB vs KKR

Virat Kohli. Clean bowled. AB de Villiers. Clean Bowled. Glenn Maxwell. Completely deceived. Most people need a cheat code and a computer screen to pull that off. Narine doesn’t. He imposed video game logic on this real life game and turned it in Knight Riders’ favor.

RCB were quick off the blocks, courtesy captain Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal. While Kohli creamed three fours in the first two overs, Padikkal hit two fours in the fourth before RCB moved to 49/0 at the end of five overs. KKR struck on the first ball of the sixth over as Lockie Ferguson dismissed Padikkal after the left-hander dragged one back onto the stumps.

While Kohli survived a close run-out, thanks to his brilliant dive and KS Bharat got a reprieve in the eighth over, KKR struck in the 10th over as Sunil Narine picked a wicket in his first over, dismissing KS Bharat. Narine continued to make merry and KKR continued to dominate the proceedings as Glenn Maxwell was dismissed in the 17th over. KKR continued to keep RCB in check and limited them to 138/7.

Second Innings: RCB vs KKR

Kohli wanted this one badly. He got in the face of the umpire when he made a poor decision. When the resulting DRS proved how plumb the lbw was he roared like only he can. He had said this would be his last season as captain in the IPL. Harshal Patel has the honour in 2021 and he responded by knocking out Shubman Gill and Venkatesh Iyer. Those two wickets took his season tally to 32, an IPL record, tied with 2013 Dwayne Bravo.

Two overs later, Yuzvendra Chahal trapped Rahul Tripathi before the wickets. Harshal then picked up his 32nd wicket of the season as he had Iyer caught behind the wickets. KKR then promoted Narine up the order and he hammered 3 sixes on the first legal deliveries he faced and helped KKR zoom past hundred. RCB though continued to fight hard as Chahal had Rana in the 15th over before Mohammed Siraj’s double-wicket 18th over – where he dismissed Narine and Dinesh Karthik – took the things right down to the wire. Captain Eoin Morgan and Shakib Al Hasan though held their nerve and took KKR home with two balls to spare.

Brief Scores:

Kolkata Knight Riders 139/6 (Shubman Gill 29, Sunil Narine 26; Yuzvendra Chahal 2/16) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore 138/7 (Virat Kohli 39, Devdutt Padikkal 21; Sunil Narine 4/21) by 4 wickets.

Man of the Match – Sunil Narine

DC vs CSK, 1st Qualifier, VIVO IPL 2021 – Match Report

A vintage MS Dhoni finish made its presence felt as Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat Delhi Capitals (DC) by four wickets in Qualifier 1 in Dubai. Meanwhile, DC, will now take on the winners of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Eliminator for a place in the summit clash.

First Innings: DC vs CSK

Dhoni had said at the toss that his team had been finding the ball to be stopping and the pitches to be two-paced when they bowled first. That seemed to be the case here again as Prithvi Shaw began his innings with three streaky boundaries. He was also dropped by Dhoni, diving one-handed to the right trying to get to a late dab.

Shaw continued his merry ways and brought up a 27-ball half-century in the ninth over. CSK though picked the three DC wickets. Shaw was the fourth man to get out as Ravindra Jadeja had Shaw caught in the deep at 60. DC were looking for a solid partnership and captain Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer rose to the occasion. The duo, who joined forces in the 11th over, added 83 runs together.

The two kept the scorecard ticking and took DC past 100 in the 14th over as Hetmyer creamed a six off Moeen. While Hetmyer got out in the penultimate over, Rishabh went on to complete a fine last-ball half-century to guide DC to 172/5.

Second Innings: DC vs CSK

Uthappa’s promotion to No. 3, the position from which he has scored many IPL runs, turned out to be a crucial decision for Super Kings. He walked in during the first over, with nearly the entire powerplay at his disposal, and made the best of his favourite phase of the innings. With Gaikwad going about it in his usual languid manner to begin, Uthappa made sure Super Kings scored at a healthy rate.

Curran came in as a replacement for specialist batter Ripal Patel, and bowled two economical overs to check Super Kings’ scoring rate. In his third over, the 14th of the innings, he had Uthappa skying one to long-on’s right. Shreyas Iyer sprinted towards it, managed to keep his composure despite Axar Patel running across him from deep midwicket, caught it, lobbed the ball up, stepped over the rope and returned to the field to complete the catch. That over ended with Thakur finding Iyer at long-on for a second-ball duck.

Dhoni hit three fours and scored an unbeaten 18 off 6 balls to power CSK to their ninth IPL final.

Brief Scores:

Chennai Super Kings 173/6 (Ruturaj Gaikwad 70, Robin Uthappa 63; Tom Curran 3/29) beat Delhi Capitals 172/5 (Prithvi Shaw 60, Rishabh Pant 51*; Josh Hazlewood 2/29) by 4 wickets.

Man of the Match: Ruturaj Gaikwad

KKR first showed their aggressive batting style in the beginning of UAE leg. This boosted their NRR which helped qualify for play offs. Venkatesh Iyer and Shubman Gill has complemented each other excellently with the former taking the aggressive route and latter playing conservatively. Nitish Rana, Rahul Tripathi, and Dinesh Karthik has played some good cameos in the middle order. Skipper Morgan is still struggling to find his feet. Andre Russell might return to playing XI in this match if fit.

Sharjah will have hot and humid conditions on the match day. The dew might settle down in the second innings to trouble the bowlers to grip the ball.

RCB vs KKR: IPL 2021: Pitch Report

Sharjah pitch is on the slower side and batsmen might struggle to score runs more freely outside the power play. Pitch might slightly ease out in the second innings and batting becomes bit more easily.

RCB vs KKR: IPL 2021: Match Prediction

RCB has a top-heavy batting lineup with quality players in the top-5 positions. They lack batting depth below AB at No.5 and it is an issue for them. They have struggling to find their fourth and fifth bowling options with Garton, Maxi, and Ahmed going for runs often. KKR has a very long batting line-up with Narine at No.8. The form of Morgan has been their concern so far. Russell`s return might boost their squad depth and balance greatly. They rely on their all-rounders for their fifth bowler`s quota of overs which might prove costly at times. We expect KKR to win this match owing to the depth and balance in their playing XI.

DC vs CSK, Dream11 Prediction, IPL 2021, 1st Qualifier

Delhi Capitals (DC) & Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face each other at the 1st Qualifier of Vivo IPL 2021. The match will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, UAE on 10th October at 7.30 PM IST.

DC vs CSK: IPL 2021: Preview

The league games are done, and we are into the 1st Qualifier of the Indian Premier League 2021. Delhi Capitals lost their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on the last ball of the match. However, Captain Pant would be proud of the campaign he has led. The side has finished on the top of the points table for the first time and has produced great performances. Prithvi Shaw has gained form which is welcome news for the side and along with Shikhar Dhawan, he shall look to provide the side with a great start here with Dhawan already having made 500+ runs.

Chennai would be under pressure to perform after suffering three consecutive losses before this game. But the Super Kings are known to be tough fighters, and this would make this contest all the more interesting. MS Dhoni would be upset with the build-up to this game. The side comes here with three straight losses, and this is something the skipper would be worried about. They have batted poorly in the last two games and went down against the Punjab Kings by 6 wickets in their final league match.

DC vs CSK: IPL 2021: Weather Report

It would be hot and humid in Dubai on the match day. Temperature is expected to stay around 33 degrees & wind speed will be 5 Km/Hr.

DC vs CSK: IPL 2021: Pitch Report

Dubai International Cricket Stadium has a flat surface and a fast outfield. It has seen several high-scoring games here in the past. Batsmen enjoy these conditions with the ball coming onto the bat nicely. There is little on this track for the fast bowlers but spinners have done well given the nature of the track.

It will be an uphill challenge for the Chennai Super Kings. They have lost twice against the Capitals and come here with three losses in a row. First Innings: RCB vs DC

Virat Kohli had thrown the new ball to Maxwell, giving him a crack at Shikhar Dhawan, but the left-hander picked him off for 15 off eight. Prithvi Shaw, who had managed scores of 11, 10, 6, 18 in his first four innings in the UAE this IPL, hit form by driving and punching on the up in the powerplay, which yielded 55 runs overall for Capitals.

Shaw also lined up Yuzvendra Chahal for a pair of sixes, but the legspinner dangled one outside the batter’s eyeline and found sharp dip to have him holing out to sweeper cover for 48 off 31 balls. After Dhawan and Shaw put on 88 together in the first ten overs, the pitch slowed down, as did the rest of the Capitals batting line-up. They could muster only 76 in the second chunk of their innings, with Mohammed Siraj and the slower bowlers hiding the ball away from their swinging arcs.

Second Innings: RCB vs DC

With the Royal Challengers openers falling cheaply, AB de Villiers came in as early as the third over and began a repair job with a run-a-ball 26. Axar dismissed de Villiers in the tenth over and could’ve got Maxwell (twice) soon after had Ashwin and Iyer had not dropped those chances. As for Bharat, he was a more sedate presence in the early exchanges against high pace, but then laid into Axar’s left-arm darts, taking him for 25 off just nine balls.

With two right-handers in the middle, Ashwin bowled just a solitary over, which cost Capitals 11 runs. Ripal stepped in for Ashwin with his medium-pace, giving up 22 in his three overs. Nortje maintained his machine-line accuracy at the death, but Avesh had a rare off day as Bharat finished off the league phase of IPL 2021 with a last-ball six.

Brief Scores:

Royal Challengers Bangalore 166/3 (KS Bharat 78*, Glenn Maxwell 51*; Anrich Nortje 2/24) beat Delhi Capitals 164/5 (Prithvi Shaw 48, Shikhar Dhawan 43; Mohammed Siraj 2/25) by 7 wickets.

Man of the Match – Srikar Bharat

MI vs SRH, Match 55, VIVO IPL 2021 – Match Report

Mumbai Indians (MI) ended their VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 campaign on a high as they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 42 runs in Match 55 in Abu Dhabi on Friday. Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav hammered 84 and 82 respectively and set up MI’s win.

We predicted in our last Fantasy Prediction & Dream11 Prediction that it will be MI who will come at the top. The way match ended, MI proved our Fantasy Prediction & Dream11 Prediction right. First Innings: MI vs SRH

Mohammad Nabi opened the bowling and the first ball that Kishan faced, the second of the match, was slog-swept with extreme prejudice over deep midwicket, and he was away. Back at the top of the order, fresh off a 25-ball 50* in the last game, and with a clear mindset that Mumbai had to go from ball one to make their unlikely bid for qualification, Kishan seemed a different beast than the young man who had struggled so much that he was dropped from the XI.

The end of the powerplay didn’t bring an end to the carnage, with even Rashid being smashed around. Kishan looked on track for a century when the extra pace of Umran finally did him in, with a top edge to a short ball outside off nestling in the keeper’s gloves. By the time he fell, Mumbai had racked up 124 for 3 in 9.1 overs. Where Kishan had hit his first ball for six, Suryakumar collected four, though he was helped by Holder not getting behind the ball at fine leg as Sunrisers’ fielding wore a ragged look in the face of the furious assault. If Suryakumar’s pace seemed anything but extra hot, it was only because of what had come before. He batted magnificently, matching Kishan shot for shot given he didn’t get the powerplay advantage.

Second Innings: MI vs SRH

Just like they had done while batting, Mumbai started the bowling by going all out, having attacking fields and giving the first couple of overs to Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah, the bowlers most likely to get wickets. However, the newly-minted opening pair of Jason Roy and Abhishek Sharma took a leaf out of their opposition’s playbook, going on the attack from the outset. Both men found their timing and range, having seen what hyper aggression could do in the first innings.

Rohit Sharma also rang in the bowling changes quickly, but Roy and Abhishek didn’t let up. Although Bumrah got Roy with a well-targetted bouncer, the openers had put on 64 in 5.1 overs. Two singles in that very over meant Mumbai’s play-off hopes ended within Sunrisers’ powerplay.

In the end, Mumbai got the victory, but not the result they wanted.

Brief Scores:

Mumbai Indians 235/9 (Ishan Kishan 84, Suryakumar Yadav 82; Jason Holder 4/52) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad 193/8 (Manish Pandey 69, Jason Roy 34; Jasprit Bumrah 2/39) by 42 runs.

Man of the Match – Ishan Kishan

KKR vs RR, Match 54, VIVO IPL 2021 – Match Report

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) ran riot with the ball and beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 54 of the VIVO Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in Sharjah on Thursday. Kolkata Knight Riders have sealed the fourth and final playoffs spot in IPL 2021. On another Sharjah pitch with treacherous low bounce, Knight Riders enjoyed the perfect game on Thursday.

We predicted in our last Fantasy Prediction & Dream11 Prediction that it will be KKR who will come at the top. The way match ended, KKR proved our Fantasy Prediction & Dream11 Prediction wrong. Kolkata Knight Riders came out as a winner in the end. Our fantasy prediction for probable playing XI & Dream11 Team prediction was 100% accurate. You can follow us for more accurate fantasy tips & Dream11 predictions.

First Innings: KKR vs RR

Rajasthan Royals won the toss & they had chance to make a right decision but instead they elected field first. The pattern of the game was quite clear during the opening exchanges. Royals bowled exclusively seam through their first 10 overs, and all their seamers looked to hit the shorter side of a good length and bowl cross-seamers and cutters into the pitch. The first nine overs produced a contest that neither side dominated, with the runs coming at barely over a run a ball, but with no wickets falling Knight Riders came out of it the happier side.

Tewatia ended the 11th over strongly, bowling Iyer as he attempted to reverse-sweep, and the match was interestingly poised, with Knight Riders having nine wickets to play with over just 9.1 overs. The last 10 overs brought Knight Riders 102 runs, leaving the Royals a highly tricky chase against one of the best attacks in the competition.

Second Innings: KKR vs RR

Slower balls and cutters work very well on slow, low pitches, but their utility mainly lies in drying up boundaries and sucking the life out of innings. They aren’t necessarily a means of full-frontal attack. In Lockie Ferguson and Shivam Mavi, however, Knight Riders had two of the quickest bowlers in this match, and they showed that high pace can be utterly devastating when there’s low bounce on offer.

Royals were already three down before this became apparent, and there had been no grand design behind the first three wickets. Sanju Samson hit an uppish flick too close to short midwicket, and Liam Livingstone lost his shape while trying to pull. Mavi and Ferguson ripped through the Royals largely by means of bowling fast and getting the ball to skid through low from the shorter side of a good length. Tewatia is always the last man to concede defeat, however, and he slog-swept his way to a 36-ball 44 to ensure the Royals didn’t threaten the record for the lowest IPL total. They did, however, end their season by being bowled out for the lowest total of the season.

Brief Scores:

Kolkata Knight Riders 171/4 (Shubman Gill 56, Venkatesh Iyer 38; Chetan Sakariya 1/23) beat Rajasthan Royals 85 (Rahul Tewatia 44, Shivam Dube 18; Shivam Mavi 4/21) by 86 runs.

Man of the Match: Shivam Mavi

CSK vs PBKS, Match 53, VIVO IPL 2021 – Match Report

Captain KL Rahul set the stage on fire with the bat as Punjab Kings (PBKS) beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by six wickets in Match 53. The right-hander hammered an unbeaten 98 off 42 balls, hitting 7 fours and 8 sixes, as PBKS, who needed 135 runs to win, chased down the target in 13 overs.

We predicted in our last Fantasy Prediction & Dream11 Prediction that it will be CSK who will come at the top. The way match ended, PBKS proved our Fantasy Prediction & Dream11 Prediction wrong. Punjab Kings came out as a winner in the end. Our fantasy prediction for probable playing XI & Dream11 Team prediction was 100% accurate. You can follow us for more accurate fantasy tips & Dream11 predictions.

First Innings: CSK vs PBKS

Mohammed Shami’s fifth ball thudded into Ruturaj Gaikwad’s gloves and discomfited him. Arshdeep Singh then targeted Gaikwad’s left shoulder with a similar sharp lifter and had him miscuing a pull to midwicket for 12 off 14 balls. By the time Robin Uthappa and Ambati Rayudu were also bested by short balls, Super Kings were 42 for 4 in the ninth over.

MS Dhoni threatened to break free when he crunched a legbreak from Ravi Bishnoi to the cover boundary, but the spinner struck back to take out Dhoni with a wrong’un. Kings XI’s attack subdued Ravindra Jadeja as well, keeping him to 15 off 17 balls, but Faf du Plessis got on top of them in the slog overs. After reaching 50 off 46 balls, du Plessis looked spent, but quickly jumped into top gear, walloping three fours and two sixes in his next eight balls. du Plessis also lined up Shami, who had looked unhittable in the powerplay, before the quick pounded the pitch once again and had the batter top-edging a pull for 76 off 55 balls.

Second Innings: CSK vs PBKS

Super Kings had smashed 52 off their last five overs to give their attack something to bowl at, but Punjab Kings hit nearly as many (51) in the powerplay itself to regain control. Rahul went on a boundary-hitting spree from the get-go – like he used to do back in the day. He was particularly brutal on Deepak Chahar, taking him for 34 off just 12 balls.

Rahul surged to his half-century off 25 balls, and eventually finished the chase with a six, his eighth overall on Thursday, handing Super Kings their third successive defeat.

Brief Scores:

Punjab Kings 139/4 (KL Rahul 98*, Aiden Markram 13; Shardul Thakur 3/28) beat Chennai Super Kings 134/6 (Faf du Plessis 76, Ravindra Jadeja 15; Chris Jordan 2/20, Arshdeep Singh 2/35) by 6 wickets.

Man of the Match: KL Rahul

SRH vs MI: IPL 2021: Preview

It is a must-win game for Mumbai Indians who come into this contest with a big win against the Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai Indians would be under pressure going into this contest. If the defending champions needed the extra acceleration to be in the hunt for the playoffs, the win against Sunrisers is required. Their star player Ishan Kishan is back in the form & will be expected to perform at his best.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad have had a very poor season. They have just managed to win 3 games. Their record against Mumbai Indians hasn’t been encouraging either. This game would be a tall task for them. They stunned the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last game and won it by 4 runs. It was a good effort from their bowlers who defended the small total. Their batting line up is still struggling.

It will be a warm evening at Abu Dhabi on the match day. Temperature is expected to stay around 32 degrees & wind speed will be 5 Km/Hr.

SRH vs MI: IPL 2021: Pitch Report

Abu Dhabi’s pitch is known for being a batsman’s paradise as the surface here is flat. Fast bowlers haven’t fared well here in the past as there is little for them on the track. Spinners have done well as the ball can turn sharply on occasions.

SRH vs MI: IPL 2021: Match Prediction

Sunrisers Hyderabad would be playing for their pride in this game. Their batting is looking poor, and the top order would have to deliver the goods for the side to win. The Mumbai Indians would have their confidence high after the big win in the last game. They have a good bowling attack and enjoy an excellent record against Hyderabad. This would make them favorites here.
